Students have access to a dedicated student work lab, a green screen and motion capture studio, a high performance render farm, a private high capacity server for hosting large files and a 3D printer. Students utilize industry leading 2D, 3D and interactive software such as Maya and Nuke.

Dimension Elite 3D Printer

Since its installation we have printed student and faculty-based projects.  We also have used our printer collaboratively with local industry. The 3D rendering photo below is of books used in Moonbot Studio’s Academy Award-winning short animated film, “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore”.

Digital Media Stage

The green screen and motion capture studio allows students to shoot digital video and later composite images around their footage. The motion capture cameras can capture two characters at one time. The green screen cyclorama and motion capture cameras can also be combined for virtual sets.
