Don’t know what TED is?
TED embodies creativity in (T)echnology, (E)ntertainment, and (D)esign and “Ideas Worth Spreading”. Click here to learn more about TED!
The TED movement is happening all over the world, but up to this point North Louisiana has not been a part of the TED dialogue. All of that is changing with a group of TED believers aligning forces to bring TEDxRed River to life.
We’ll begin on November 2nd with a series of TED talks led by Moonbot Studios’ own Brandon Oldenburg at the Robinson Film Center’s Multi-purpose spaces on the 2nd floor.
We’ll have a cash bar and light food on hand. The night is set up to localize the TED Movement and looking to begin a series of TED talks in 2012 from January-May leading up to the TED Global event live streamed at the Robinson Film Center’s Theaters on June 25-29th. http://conferences.ted.com/TEDGlobal2012/
We really want the community’s involvement in the conversation with Brandon and to hear your “Ideas Worth Spreading!”
The speakers for the remaining 5 TEDxRed River talks are TBD, and we are looking for bright minds that want to join us in picking their favorite TED talks and giving them their own take and discussing them with the group in 2012.
We believe that there is no time better than now to bring TED to North Louisiana and we need your help in doing so. So join us on November 2nd to begin the TED movement in our area!
We’ll be meeting upstairs in MPS1, across from Abby Singer’s Bistro and we will have a few TED videos with a followup talk from local artistic genius Brandon Oldenburg.
