John Miralles, Program Director for the Animation and Visual Effects Program, will give a talk at this year’s Red Stick Animation Festival on Friday November 12th. Miralles has been asked to give a talk on the art of digital compositing, using his extensive experience in the field of visual effects. Due to increased demand a second talk by Miralles has been added to the schedule as well.
Red Stick is an annual animation festival held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana which seeks to further the differing backgrounds in the field of animation. Animators, artists, scientists and engineers are invited from around the world to come together in Baton Rouge for three days to explore both the art and science of animation.
The talks will be on Friday the 12th in the Louisiana Arts and Sciences Museum Auditorium at 11:30am, and at the Manship Black Box Theatre at 1:00pm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. For more information about Red Stick see their website.
